Out Door Adventure

Hi Everyone, Cindy here with a new card for the Cardz4Guyz challenge this fortnight our challenge is to have an outdoor adventure theme to our cards, I found this little hiker over at LOTV stamps on Etsy. printed and colored him with copics, distressed the edges and inked with pumice stone distress ink and added to my card which is layered with paper I got long time ago from Costco. the gems are colored with copics to match.I decided not to add a sentiment, as I can always add one later when using the card. Thanks for looking

On The Beach

Hi Everyone, a new card for Make My Monday for our theme this time around which is On the Beach. I think of that and I think sand, water, and seashells, and wearing flip flops which of course get full of sand, so that was my inspiration for my card.

I used my silhouette to cut out the flip flops, the sand is sandpaper, the white caps from the crashing waves was going to be liquid applique, but it was dried out so used some puffs embossing powder which didn't work too well either, oh well anyway I used dies from Whimsy for the shells and the sun, and left off a sentiment this time as I can use it for any occasion this way.

Winter Wonderland- August

Hi Everyone, I am excited to announce that I have joined the Winter Wonderland Design Team and this is my first card. Our challenge this month is to use one of the two following sketches and to have dry or wet embossing on your card. Janice is our host this month. What a fun challenge.
We are being sponsored this month by Dr. Digi, and I have used the image Christmas Chris.
I have used the second sketch here, and used dry embossing on the short narrow panel and wet embossing on the sentiment.

Clean and Simple

Hi Everyone at Make My Monday Challenge this week we  have a new challenge to make Clean and Simple cards. I have seen the type of card I have made several times over the years and thought I would like to try one, well I ended up making three the third one I am not really fond of but am posting them all  here for you to see. My favorite is the Black and gold, but I also like the white as I like the rainbow effect.

To make the cards I have used a Happy Birthday die, as well as a balloon punch.
The first one I used white for them all but colored the birthday and balloon with distress inks.
The second I cut the birthday and balloon out of shiny gold card stock, and the third it was a shiny black for the happy and I heat embossed the silver.
Anyway thanks for stopping by. Hope you come and play along with our challenge.

My Besties 3d and More August Challenge

Hi Everyone, I am delighted to be on the My Besties 3d and More team. I made this project using the Coffee Shop Paper Pack, it came with the little coffee girl separate so I printed her out a few times and made her into a 3d card, and the sentiment is a die that I cut out of the paper as well and also cut out of fun foam and attached to it to make it pop, so much easer than pop dots.
The other project I made with this paper are the mugs, I used a yellow and brown paper for the base of the mugs then used the paper to decorate them and cut out the image from one of the papers to make a tag to attach to the small bag of chocolate treats, I could see using this as a treat for a mug of hot cocoa with marshmallows and candy canes at Christmas for a hostess gift too. so fun to make. Click on the name of the challenge blog to join us.
Thanks foe looking Cindy
