E- Elephant

Hi Everyone, we are back with a new challenge for Sunny Day Crafting this week it is E for Elephant. I have decided to using a digital image this time from Sasayaki Glitter, this is Birthday Elly. I have colored her with Copics

Grey: Warm Grey 7,5,3,1 Pink, RV06,04,02 Blue, Bv00,02, 12,14 Cake Y23,21
I have cut her out using an unbranded die, and mounted her onto a piece of paper from the Sweet Sorbet paper pack, and added a border of Blue linen card stock and then mounted onto Melon Mambo card stock. I have punched out balloons and added linen thread for strings and then the Happy Birthday sentiment was cut twice glued together to pop it up a bit.

Sketch Saturday Challenge


Hi Everyone here today for another Sketch Saturday Challenge. We are sponsored this week

I have cut out using a circle die after fussy cutting out the flat cookie and a bit of the other one, then mounted it onto another circle of Melon Mambo, I used Sweet Sorbet paper for the strip and added my circle with mounting tape, then added the sentiment which is from Hero Arts and cut out with matching die.

Christmas with Besties

Hi Everyone here today with a new card for Merry Christmas Challenge. This week I am using this adorable image by My Besties, I've colored it with Copics, and have cut out with an unbranded stitched die, I've stamped the greeting from the Four the Holidays stamp set from Stampin up.  I then added it to a background using papers from Candlelight Christmas from Stampin Up, and Lori Whitlock Peace Joy Love collection. To finish it off I have added a cute penguin.

Paper Nest Dolls Inspiration: Ice Skating Ellie

Hi Everyone, I'm on the Paper Nest Dolls Challenge blog with my January Inspiration Post. I have made a tri-shutter card using image Ice Skating Ellie. I've colored her with Copics, then cut her out and mounted her onto Blue Linen card stock, and then onto Melon Mambo card stock.

I have cut my tri shutter card using Blue Linen card stock it is 5.5 by 12 inches Scored at 2,4,8,10 inches and cut from the 2 in to the 10 in score line 1.5 inches in from either side, then folded.
I have cut all the paper .25 inches smaller than the space. and used 3/8 in taffeta ribbon and a snowflake die for the snowflakes cut out of silver glitter paper the sentiment is from a polkadoodles stamp set that was given away free from Craft Essentials magazine. it was cut then mounted also onto the same card stock as the image.

Besties Inspiration: IMG455

Hi Everyone, on Sherri's Art Blog today with another inspiration post using IMG455, which can be found HERE
I have colored her with Copics

Hair and flower centers: E77,74,71

I then fussy cut her out with scissors and put her onto a piece of Real Red card stock

For my gatefold card I used a piece of card stock that was 12 by 5,5 and scored it at 2 1/8 41/4, 81/4 and 10 3/8 so that the outer two panels are each 21/8 inches wide and the center panel is 4 inches
I have cut my designer paper  Blueberry Crisp to 2 by 5 1/4 inches  I adhered it and then cut Birthday sentiment out of an unbranded die twice and glued together, so they would pop a bit more, then cut the butterfly out and added it. with some pearls for the body
To be able to keep the card closed I made a belly band for it

C is for Color it


Hi Everyone, I'm here with a new card for Sunny Day Crafting Challenge,  Our challenge this week is C for Color it. My card is using the stamp set called Creative Elements I have colored the flower with Copics - RV29,25,23. I've stamped the vine in black onto white, I've colored the flower fussy cut it out then added the sentiment from Curly Cute using Rose Red Ink, I've cut out a die from edgelits collection from Stampin up with my Vagabond and attached to back, I've put it all onto a piece of Rose Red, and cut off the edge and added a piece of white behind. I've then added some rhinstones for the bling. Thanks for looking

Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone, I'm here today with my project for the Color it Create it Show it off Winter Wonderland challenge, which is running all month. I've decided to use this sweet image which is a colored printable by My Besties for my project.You can find here here. I have cut her into layers and made a  3D image and then put her on the background which I made using embboss resist technique. I stamped the snowflakes from the Snowburst stamp set onto white cardstock with versamark then embossed with clear ink. I have added the faded jeans, blueprint sketch and salty ocean inks with a sponge tool then buffed the ink off the snowflakes to make them pop. Ihave used a couple of unbranded dies to make the hills in the forground then added some trees which I got from a friend. I added the greeting to finish my card from Winter foilage set by Gina K Designs.

A Cardinal Christmas

Hi Everyone, well it's past Christmas now, but I'm working on next years cards with the Merry Christmas Challenge. I am doing some with just plain old rubber stamps, and some digital and some with my silhouette. This card was made using an old stamp set from Stampin up. One of my favorites still called Cardinal Christmas. The bird was stamped in memento black ink and colored with copics

I have mounted it onto Cherry Cobbler card stock and stamped the leaves onto Always Artichoke and then mounted it onto a base of Cherry Cobbler, the sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.

I have used a new unbranded die to cut her out, I have used papers from Bella Rose collection retired from Stampin up, and i have used Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon for the bow, Flower from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the sentiment is a die from Hello You set from Stampin up which I have cut out three times and glued together to raise it up. I've mounted it all onto Cherry Cobbler card stock

Happy New Year- Party Time Avery

Hi Everyone, I've made a pop up box card for our current Challenge over at Paper Nest Dolls.
This is Party Time Avery which I have colored with copics

Skin: E04,11,21,00,000
Hair E55,53,50
Blue: E99,97,95,93
Grey, C05,03,01

I have made a box cutting paper 9 by 5.5 sheet of paper scoring at 21/8, 41/4,63/8, 8.5 on the 9 inch side then on the 5.5 in side scoring at 23/4. Then cut all the scorelines up to the 23/4 inch score line, and cutting off the top part of it at the 8.5 mark for the flap that is glue to make the box
Then cut to pieces at 1in by 3.25 in then scoring at 5/8 inch. and folded like a z and they are attached inside the box at the top one toward the back and one toward the front. I have then added the stars, balloons and such into the box and some onto window shit strips to add to the height. the panels of the box were covered with designer paper from the Fine and Dandy paper stack by Lori Whitlock, the balloons were punched out and the stars were cut with star dies  and punches from Stampin up, the champagne glasses are unbranded dies from Ali Express.

Merry Christmas Challenge

Hi Everyone, this is my project for the current challenge over on the Merry Christmas Challenge blog. Hope you will come join us, I have made a card I found on the silhouette store site, and have cut it all with Gold and Blueberry Bliss card stock. the ribbon was white satin ribbon which I dyed using mini mister with alcohol and Blueberry bliss ink refill. made the bow and attached.

My Besties Snowman IMG772

A new year and a new challenge is starting at Color it Create it Show it off, this is my card for our Winter Wonderland Challenge, won't you come and join in some fun. We have some great inpsiration from our Design Team. 

For my card I have used a brand new Snowflake Embossing folder out by Echo Park I have inked the folder with same color paper so it gives it a tone on tone appeal, I have added the image I have colored with Copics.

I have cut it out with a stitched die, I have used a silhouette cut for the snowflake swirl and Let it Snow. and a snowflake sticker that someone gave me in a swap for the 3rd element. I have pierced the background white to match the stitching die, and then mounted it all onto red.
