Christmas Filled with Love

Hi Everyone, Here is my latest card for the  Besties International Challenge  using My Besties Img690 which I colored with copics. I have trimmed the image down then mounted it onto Tempting Turquoise card stock. I have also used papers from the My Besties shop as well from two different collections, Magical Unicorn and Snowman and Pinky Pop Stardust Unicorn. which I cut into half squares and mounted onto Pink Pirouette card stock. I have added some glitter snowflakes and bubbles  using the memory box die, have made a bow from 5/8 satin ribbon and used a rhinestone brad in the center. I made some poinsettia flowers using the dies and mold from Heartfelt Creations and some silver lined seed beads for the centers.

Hi Everyone, I have this card, which I have used an image from My Besties, and is a Steampunk Valentine Bear I have used copics to color the bear and then made a card with it. I have used Red, God and White card stock, embossed using We are Memory Keepers Embossing folder on the gold and Stampin Up Embossing folder on the white. using polka dots. I have followed the sketch on Outlaws challenge and have used hearts and ribbon to accent the card. the greeting is from a Bentley bear stamp set I got free in a magazine quite some time ago.

Ready for Hot Chocolate

Hi Everyone, this is my first card of the season for this year, I have a few cards left from last year so wasn't in as much of a rush. Anyway for my card I am using, a new image from My Besties shop. It is called I Love Winter img221, I have colored her with copics, then cut out with a shaped die and marked around the frame. I have used paper and sequins from Stampin up, a Stamp and die set from Heartfelt creations for the mittens and a new die I purchased for the sentiment. Thanks for Looking

Besties Halloween

Hi Everyone, today I am here to share my new card for our Halloween Challenge over at My Besties International Challenge, we hope you will come over and join us. Our Challenge is always anything goes and also you can use any image, it doesn't have to be a Besties, even though they are adorable.

My Card is using several products you can find at the My Besties Shop, First of all I am using img022 from the You Drive me Batty collection which I have colored using Copic Markers.
The second element I am using is the beautiful chipboard frame, which I colored with Polychromo Pencils then sealed it with clear nail polish.
My final element from the store is the wonderful paper that you can print at home and no it doesn't cost a lot to do so. It's called Fall Batty Paper Pack, which I used 2 of the 12 sheets available. I printed my sentiment on one and the other is my background, I hope you like my card and come join us in the challenge.

Steampunk Bestie

Hi Everyone, here to share my lastest make for the International Besties challenge which is the theme of steampunk. Instead of making a card I actually made a tag instead and I am quite happy with how it came out.  I used image called Steampunk Bestie  I colored her with copics and fussy cut her out

I then got the tag and used Distress inks over it and then stamped a few elements on top

I then went to work on doing my embellishments, the cogs, and screws at the bottom other than the small one with 3 holes are all die cuts, I used metal paper for the silver ones then distressed them with ink a bit so they weren't so bright, then I got another paper and mixed some orange, red, and green together on the page until I got the desired color kind of a copper and die cut out the clock and the other cogs and screws, decided on the placement glued them down then stamped my greeting an old one from Stampin up that is retired, and then added the hot air balloon which I got from De Serres store in a steampunk charm set. Hope you like my project.

This is my reminder card for the Besties International Challenge I am using img569 which I have colored with copics and made the background for the image using large dots embossing folder and a red marker to make them into baseball, I then cut out some grass using two different dies and then added the happy birthday flag from the stamp set Banner Greetings and the champ shirt was a charm I have had in my stash for a long time.

Img 571 Sling Shot Joe

Hi Everyone, I would like to show you my card for the newest Challenge over at Besties International, 

I have colored my image with copics and have cut it out and framed it in Pacific Point. I started the card by embossing the background of Soft Suede with Houndstooth folder then added a piece of desinger paper at the edge, then added the image off set from it, for my embellishments I used bottle caps which were flattened in my vagabond and then added a sentiment from Riveting and the stars punched with Pacific Point.

Adorable Blooms img918 - My Besites

Hi Everyone, today I am showing a new card that I have made using the Adorable Blooms Img918 from My Besties, for the Your Crafty Place challenge as a Guest Designer.  I have colored it with copics, and then cut out with a stitched die and added some card stock to back it,  I have used paper from the Gingham Garden collection, and stamped my sentiment directly onto it which is from Elegant Cheer collection from Stampin up, I have added a Satin bow and a butterfly I die cut glittered up and used some gems on it.

Hi Everyone, back with a new card today, it is for the Color it Create it Show it off Challenge which we are focusing on the Men/Boys this month and making guys cards. My Besties Fluffy Sunshine Girl Img009

Hi Everyone, well I hope the weather has changed for the better for everyone, this is my card for this month to share with you, I have used Fluffy009 image from the My Besties shop. I have colored the image with Copic Markers then fussy cut her out, then decided to make a scene to put her in. I have used a embossing folder from We are Memory Keepers for the background water, it is waves. and then used a die to make the beach using craft card stock. I have added dots for the sand using E44,43,42 Copic markers. I used a Starburst die to make the sun. The Relax sentiment is a chipboard piece I had from a beach set, I have painted it using a mix of leaf green and light blue acrylic paint then did a wash of white over it, kind of giving it a water feel. I added some bead starfish to finish my project. Thanks for looking

Hi Everyone, Cindy here with some inspiration for you, using the image called BE MINE.  I have used an image that when first looked at thought of Valentine's Day or a Birthday, but thought why not do something different so I have made it into an Anniversary card. Hi Everyone, here is a little inspiration for you, I am using the image called Janie for my card, isn't she darling. You can find her in the etsy shop here: Janie. I have colored her with Copic Markers and then cut her out with a paper trimmer and backed her onto a piece of Turquoise card stock. I have added a piece of designer paper and a piece of white paper which I inked the one side of before embossing so that the banners in the design popped with color.  One of the new cheap embellishments these days for cards is cut down straws, which I have added and tied with a ribbon, and then added a flower to the center knot of the ribbon. I also used a stamp for the greeting.

My Besties Fluffies are so fun

Hi Everyone, Cindy here with a new project for you, I have colored the image with Copics, and then also did the background as well.
I mounted it onto a yellow paper that was embossed with a polkadot folder added some ribbon and a bow and used a die to cut out the word hello about 3 times and glued together so it would be stand out more, then painted the chipboard friends, and added it to the bottom.

I've colored him with copics. and then cut out with a stitched oval die. I have added a banner that was cut using banner dies by Stampin up, in Blue and also in designer paper called Well Worn. I have the Hello die which is also by Stampin up and I cut out twice and layered it so it would pop . Besties Canvas

After coloring her up I fussy cut her out and decided to make a canvas project with her

I started off with a 9 by 7 inch white canvas board I got from the dollar store

I added some texture to it by stenciling all over using modeling paste and letting it set to dry. 

I then decided to use my spray inks to color the canvas, I used a lilac, aqua and wanted some green but only had a light green so I made my own by using an ink refill and some alcohol in a spritzer

works wonders. so did the green this is how the canvas background turned out. 

I then cut out a frame for my image out of watercolor paper, I added some ground espresso distress ink to it, and then watered it down for the color to go all over, then did it again to get full coverage. 

I decided It didn't look old or like metal so I added some taupe frantage to it and then some gold embossing powder in spots and then heat set and then went over it a bit with the ground espresso, this is the frame and how it turned out

I placed it on the canvas

and then added some other stuff to the canvas to see how it would look 

I was liking the layout but the chain was silver and so was a couple of the gears, so I used some gold embossing powder on them and heat set to turn them gold

I then let it set a while as gold elements on the canvas and decided I wanted a bit more of the pink so I took everything off the canvas again and added some pink spray to it, just a touch in the center area

I then put all back on the canvas and was pleased with the effect with the exception of the white areas around the image, so I took my Cool Grey 1 marker and went over those areas and added some more color to the glass of the glasses  as well. I then used some Gel medium to attach all to the canvas

Hi Everyone, here today to share my card for the Color it Create it Show it off Challenge, I am using img955 from the My Besties Shop, I have colored her with copics, cut her out using a stitched rectangle die, have embossed the background of the card with a we are memory keepers embossing folder, I have popped her up added an edge die, some flowers , a butterfly and sentiment.
