Puppy Christmas

I have fussy cut the image out, and placed onto a piece of distress musical paper and backed that onto a piece of distress cherry cobbler card stoke, my base is Cherry Cobbler, then added a sheet of vintage paper and distress it, added some lace, and the image on top, then added the musical notes which I had embossed in gold and then the sentiment was printed, and distressed and again on a backing of Cherry cobbler, and that was also distressed and added another musical note.

Drapery Pleats

Hi Everyone, for today's card for the Merry Christmas challenge I have made a card using a fold called Drapery pleat, which is what is used with the designer paper, which I received in a swap. I have added some pleated ribbon over top a poinsettia, decorated in the center with a button and gemstone, and added the greeting which is from Sincere Salutations stamp set.

Snowman family

This is my card for the challenge over at Paper Nest Dolls I'm using the image called snowman family. The Image was colored with copics using

It was cut out using unbranded square stitch dies, and mounted onto another piece cut out with dies, I have used some chipboard snowflakes and the ribbon is seambinding ribbon which I dyed with Cherry Cobbler ink to match the cardstock.

Come and Get it Farewell Christmas Challenge

Today is a bittersweet day. I have had the honour of running my own challenge blog Come and Get It Challenges with a dear friend of mine Julie Temple for the past 6 plus years, but due to reasons out of our control the time has come for us to say goodbye. We have had so many great designers over the years, and I am proud to say that most of them have become very good friends. I have enjoyed the journey I have been on with this blog, but as they say all good things come to an end.

For our Final challenge we have a Christmas challenge for you, it will run for the month of December and the winners will be announced on the 8th of January.

For my project I have used a Besties image and made it into a candy box. I have colored the image with copics.  have added her to a box, and then put on a piece of chipboard that I covered the bottom with snow tex and then added the banner and trees. thanks for looking and hop you will join us for our last hurrah.

Christmas and Cocoa

Christmas and cocoa just seem to go together, I love sitting around on a cold winters night just with the lights on the tree and drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate. well this card is made for the Color it Create it Show it off  December challenge and I am using Besties Lil Rascal~ Lil Rosie Hot Coco  for my card. I have colored her with Copics

I have cut her out using an unbranded stitched die and have inked around it with Soft Suede ink. 
I have used paper from the Candlelight Chrsistmas set from Stampin up, as well as paper from my stash. The sentiment is from That's the Ticket from Stampin up which I have punched out with coordinating punch, all the paper was distressed and added ink using Soft Suede I added some holly in the one corner and trees in the other which were also inked using  Soft Suede, then finished off the card using some gems. Beofre adding the layers together I added some Shabby White embossing enamel to it and heat set with my heat tool.

Christmas Bags

Hi all, Today for the Merry Christmas challenge I have some Christmas bags decked out in style. I have used some paper that was given to me in a swap, cut it into rectangles, then used my paper piercing tool to make some holes in them, I tied some twine to them and some tulle.and popped them up on my card, I added the greeting which is from the Season of Joy stamp set and some blue gems to finish it off. Up in the Air

Hi Everyone, new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting this week it is U- Up in the air, and the first thing that came to mind was the hot air balloons set I had from Stampin up. I have used it to create the balloons, and the birds in the sky and the sentiment. The clouds were created using a sponge dauber and scalloped circle. The trees are a die cut.

This week at the Pause Dream Enjoy challenge we have an anything goes challenge. so I was just playing around and made this card I used old olive ink along with stamp sets called Serene Silhouettes and Peaceful Petals.
I started with a white card base, and decided to add a moon, so punched out a circle with a post it not and taped it down, I then started sponging off the paper onto the paper with the Old Olive ink. I got it where I had a nice coverage and was happy with it took off the mask and got my moon, in behind the plants I added some hills again by sponging over a piece of paper that I tore and moved here and there to get the hills I wanted, I then added the flowers from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set also stamped in old Olive. I added a piece of 3/8 in taffeta ribbon in old olive and stamped the greeting and then punched out it is on a base of Mossy Meadow and so is the scene.

Pearl Bauble

Hi Everyone back for another week at the Merry Christmas Challenge, this week I have made a card using lots of pearls, some ribbon silver bells and cording. I placed a die onto my base and taped it down then added the pearls to make the bauble then added the ribbon bells and cord to finish it off, and the greeting I stamped and embossed in white which is from the Joyous Celebrations stamp set.

This week at Sunny Day Crafting we have S is for Scarecrow challenge. I didn't have any scarecrow stamps so I went searching for one, and found this cute guy. I have printed him out and fussy cut him out, he is mounted onto a piece of white which I used chalk to make the sky background, and I used grass border die, and some oval punches and word window punch to make the pumpkins I punched out the ovals in Pumpkin Pie and then inked around them with the same color ink, put them together and added stems and leaves.

Bauble Shaker

This is my card for this week's Merry Christmas Challenge, I've made a shaker card using
Ornament dies from Joy Crafts,
First I cut the ornaments out of gold card stock. and then I cut the outline of the ornaments from the white card stock. I used a window sheet behind the white added the sequins and then added another window sheet behind that and mounted it all onto my gold card base.
The chain is gold embossed sticker, the ribbon is gold ribbon from my stash and the Peace I used a font I had on my computer and cut it out with my silhouette.

Hi Everyone, this week at Sunny Day Crafting our challenge is R is for Ribbon, so must use ribbon on your card, I have made a card using the stamp sets Dream Garden, and Teahouse.
I have heat embossed the Teahouse on black for the background in gold, and then Heat embossed the Dream Garden image in black on gold and cut out using unbranded square stitched dies, and cut out the red border as well. The sentiment heat embossed in gold on black and also cut using the unbranded dies.

Hi Everyone back with a new card for the Pause Dream Enjoy challenge. Our theme this week is Thank you, I have made a simple card but just love the way it turned out. I have used the Swallowtail background stamp by Stampin up, and the Elegant Cheer Stamp Set for the sentiment.
The base of the card is Night of Navy. the background for the butterfly is done with distress inks in Twisted Citron, Mermaid Aqua and Mustard Seed. and I stamped both the image and greeting in Night of Navy and added some blue hotfix gems from my stash. Thanks for looking

Hi Everyone, This is my card for the anything goes Merry Christmas Challenge this week. I have used the No Peeking stamp set for image and sentiment. The image was stamped in Memento black in and the scarf and hat were colored with Copic Marker B02, I have cut him out and put him on a backing of Pacific Point card stock, I have cut out a banner using the banner framelits and DSP from my stash and then again using Pacific Point. the ribbon is 1/2 in grosgrain tied in a not. and added to the banner. The sentiment was stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink, and cut and also mounted onto Pacific Point card stock. The base is Pear Pizzaz and embossed using a 3d embossing folder from We are Memory Keepers
