Pigtail Penelope

Hi everyone: This is the sweet Pigtail Penelope from Sandra Caldwell, a new addition to the store this week, I have used copics to color her, and have made a frame for her using my silhouette, the frame is made with a stitched rectangle cut from Sara Hurley, and the top and bottom pieces are from another artist, under split borders.  I added rhinestones to the corners and crown. I then added some flowers from my stash and some from Wild Orchid Crafts to finish off the card.

Use a Doily

Hi Everyone, I am so excited to have a new sponsor at Come and Get It Challenges. It is the fabulous images by Sherri Baldy called My Besties. I love these images and am enjoying playing with them every chance I get. Anyway our new challenge this week is to use a doily on your card. So simple, and easy with these images. Are these not all fabulous Images, I have made my card using the sweet image in the frame, but I have colored two of the others too, so will be making cards with them as well soon.

For my card as I said i used the one in the frame. I colored her  with Copics, and cut it out, then added a black border around it. I added my doilies, in the background added some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and then the sentiment is Silver embossed lettering.

The second image was also colored with copics, the background is a woven embossing folder by We Are  Memory Keepers, then added some 5/8 ribbon, the sentiment and flowers on the ribbon are embossed foil and the flowers are from my stash.

Ribbon and Charm week

Hi Everyone this week over at Come and Get It we have a new challenge with a couple of sponsors this week, one is Sassy Studio Designs, which by the way is closing their doors in August so if your wanting any images best to get them soon.

 The second sponsor this week is a relatively new artist, Naz Leila Smith out of Australia, her store can be found here at her Etsy Shop . She also has a facebook group where you can come join in her challenge there or on the blog too. I am using one of her images this week called Sweet Lilly for my card.  I have colored her with copics, then added a pearl to the center of the flower she is holding.  The first layer being black, the second is red embossed with Hearts from the We are Memory Keepers Embossing Folder set, I hadded a strip of black on it, which is punched using a hearts border punch, I have used some red satin ribbon, then made a bow with a rhine stone center and added the lady bug charm.

Surfer Avery

Hi Everyone, we have a new challenge over at Paper Nest Dolls Challenge, My card today features a new image called Surfer Avery, she is colored with copics and then mounted onto the  beach scene which is by Make it Crafty also colored with copics. I have added some taupe frantage to the beach to give it a sand look and also added some shells.

Celebrate You

Hi Everyone, this is a beautiful Fluffy Bestie #146 which I have colored with prisma colored pencils.
I have used Sweet Sorbet Designer paper and Birthday Basics Designer paper along with the four feathers Stamp and Die set, and then added the one flower which I colored using Summer Starfruit Ink, and then added the greeting which was cut using the dies from Tim Holtz with the Birthday Basic Designer paper, and finished off the card with pearls.

Birthday Hippo

Good Morning everyone, today is new release day at Sandra Caldwell's Etsy shop and this is one of the images you will find there along with a few other great ones that you will just have to hav.
I have colored him with copics, and then put him out and made into a center step card.  I have used Summer Starfruit as the base, I have have used Bermuda Bay for the first layer and then the next layer on the sides and center panels I have used pieces from the Birthday Basic Designer paper Pack. Th front of the base I layere in white instead of pattern, so I could stamp my greeting from the Curly Cute Stamp set, and then adhered a couple of balloon punches from the new balloon punch.

Happy Mother's Day

Today we are celebrating the ladies over at Come and Get It. Our sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies and I am using the image called Mermaid Wish. I have colored the image with copics. The background was colored as well with a very light blue, hard to tell. I then cut out some elements with my Silhouette Cameo with white, and colored them with distress inks. I mounted the image onto some pumpkin pie card stock then onto a piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock which I embossed using a new folder from We are Memory Keepers Waves. the elements I cut out I placed where I wanted them and that finished off the card. I left off a sentiment for now, as I wasn't sure what I wanted to use.

Lost My Boot

Hi Everyone I am back with another My Bestie's image this time it is #729, Lost my Boot. I have colored her with copics and have used some gumball green ribbon from Stampin Up, a doily from my stash and some sweet flower from Wild Orchid Crafts. The embossing on the back is a new folder I got from We are Memory Keepers 6 by 6 folder great for square cards.

Owen with Toy Boat

Hi Everyone today is my first card for Paper Nest Dolls Challenge blog. This image is brand new and his name is Owen with Toy Boat. I just love this image and thought what a great image for a little sailor in the family or just a little boy's summer birthday. I have used some papers from Stampin Up from the Maritime paper, and have added some twine and an anchor to the card and the flag with Happy Birthday is a stamp from Stampin up as well from the Banner Greetings set. Geisha

Here is a Geisha card I have made using an image from Julia Spiri, which you can find here; New Gatefold Card using Geisha available here:https://www.etsy.com/…/digi-stamps-paper-crafting-digital-s…
I printed the image off large, and colored it with copics. I decided to make it into a gate fold card, I have used the Easter Blossoms set from Stampin up for behind the image and on the other side of the gatefold. I have added a few cherry blossoms to the card to finish it up.
