New Release Day with Sandra Caldwell

Today is of course new Release Day over at Sandra Caldwell's Etsy shop as are all Mondays.
We have some of the fun images she will be putting in the shop today, but of course there will always be more. This image is called Funny Bunny Angels. I have used copics to color them, I then framed them with ribbon, and then added a heart sentiment panel on the side. I also used some vellum behind with gold Hearts,

For this card the image is Kat Wabbit 279 I colored him to be a tiger striped cat, and used the colors from that to decide on the rest of the card, I used some stamps I had from inkadinkado cattitude set to do the paw prints and the sentiment at the top, The bottom sentiment is computer generated, and to finish off the card I used some 3/8 in taffeta ribbon.

Thanks for looking Cindy

Mixed Media Challenge

We have a new challenge at Come and Get It this week, and our challenge is to do a mixed media project. I have done this card using Benson Bear-With Love from Crafty Sentiments Designs, one of our sponsors this week.

For this project I have used, Burlap tape, molding paste, heart buttons, image colored with copics, distress inks, ink spray, acrylic paint, card stock, chipboard, burlap ribbon, and a sentiment gold embossed sticker.

To make the project I started off with a chipboard tag. I painted it with gesso, then acrylic paints, After that was dry, I used molding paste to put on the dots, which was done with a stencil. I waited for them to dry, then painted them using inks. I colored the bear using copics, twice. The first image I cut around the edges of the whole thing. The second image, I only cut out parts of him. I added the burlap tape to the bottom of the tag, then added him on top. I used some glitter button hearts, on a couple of the circles and on the top of the tag.
For the base of the card, I used some ink spray in pink, then I used distress inks in perfect preserves and barb door, went over some of the pink, I then finished it of by going around the edges of both the tag and the card with Ground Espresso ink.
Thanks for looking, hope you have a great day.

New Release Day- Sandra Caldwell

New Release day at Sandra Caldwell's Etsy shop. This is one of the images you will find, which I have colored with copics. The background was done with distress inks, and then put through Chevron Embossing folder. I have added some flowers, and a sentiment from On Your Birthday Stamp set from Stampin Up.
This is a journal page I have done with the image, as when I was talking to Sandra she had mentioned that she drew this image after she came home from the casino after winning $60.00, so just had to add her into that kind of layout, so much fun.

For my second image I have used St. Patty's Pork, He is such a cute pig, I have made an atc with him. He is colored with Copics, and fussy cut out, the background was made using an embossing folder then inking with versamark in, then adding some perfect pearls pigments powders over top. The shamrock was cut with my silhouette.

To see more great images, and inspiration from the design team come and see us
on Facebook in the Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans Group, we would love for you to come join us.

New Release: Cute Couple

It's new release day at Sandra Caldwell's Etsy shop and this is one of the sweet images she has coming out, called Cute Couple, Here they are colored up with Copics.

I have made them into a Valentine's card in a box project.

I have used some die cut hearts, some punched hearts, some chipboard hearts, and diecut words too.
The paper used on this box was from an old paper stack from Stampin up called Sending Love Specialty Designer Paper, as it has glitter on it, and was a special valentines pack. The purple hearts are chipboard painted with acrylic paints, the large heart in the back is also chipboard, just covered in paper, the words are from a Tim Holtz set called Celebrate. the sentiment is from Stampin up, That's the ticket, and punched out with matching punch. The bow was made using bow builder punch. and the image it self is so darn cute, and was colored with copics.

Ok I have another share today, another new release from Sandra, this one is called Chocolate Cupcake for you. It is colored with copics, I stamped another one and cut out the 4 you hearts, then colored it as well and layered it on top, so the tag has some dimension. Afterwards  I used Cherry Cobbler dazzling details on the hearts, made a bow with the bow builder stamp, and added some rhinestones to the card.
