Color it Create it Show it off

Hi everyone this is my card for our challenge over at Color it Create It Show it off. Isn't she the sweetest thing, she is Scan 0099 "Angel Light" from the My Besties store. I have made her into a Christmas card, but I could see her used for other things too.
Anyway I hope you love her as much as I enjoyed coloring her. I used copic.

The paper is from Stampin up Retired long time ago, called Sweet Always, the snowflake and flourish were cut using Stampin up Glitter Paper, on Cameo Silhouette, and the sentiment is from Hero arts

Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone This is my reminder card for International Besties, won't you come join us.  For this card I have used My Besties Image 1801.
 She was colored using copics, I used B000, B02, B04, B06 for the blues, I used Y00, Y02, Y06 for the yellow and E40, E42, E43 for her hair, skin was E11, E21, E00, E000, and RV00, Fur and Skiswas C0, C1, C3 I added some glossy accents to her goggles. the skis were done with the

The scene was made using icicles, forest trees, and pine trees from Silhouette store, the snow and snowflakes were cut from snowflake die and an edgelit die from Stampin up both retired.
 The frame around her was also cut from a silhouette file fancy stitched oval.

1227 Bearly Open a Present

Hi Everyone I have used the image called 1227 Bearly Open a Present by Sandra Caldwell and have made a Gift Card Holder, a Candy Box and a Tag.
I have used Real Red, and Garden Green card stock, along with some designer paper from DCVW.
I have colored the image with Copics.

Tree: YG61,63,67,R27,Y19
Bear: E23,25,27,
Tissue Paper and box top bottom: YG 21,23,25
Box R24,27,29
The sentiment is from Hero Arts, and I used some dies to cut the scalloped circle cut out for the box, tag punch for the tag, and the two tags die for the insert for the gift card holder, the final thing as 18 in real red ribbon for the tag that holds the gift card, and real red grosgrain 1/4 in. for the tag

Hi Everyone, this is my final project for the LOC team, as I haven't gotten to busy  with work and such I have decided to step down from the team. I am using Kenny K image Christmas image called Christmas Hottie which you can find here I have colored her and cut her out and put her onto a wine box I made.

Merry Christmas from Come and Get It

Hi Everyone, it is our Christmas Challenge at Come and Get It, it runs from Dec. 4th until Dec. 31.
We will announce the winners on January 8th and also begin our new year of challenges. For my projects I have made a candy box using a My Besties image #699

The box itself is cut from my silhouette, using Marina Mist and Melon Mambo card stock.
The Bestie image is colored with Copics and then cut out with silhouette and added to the front of my box. I have added some silver snowflake, tree and Merry Christmas stickers to the box.

Happy Winter

Hi Everyone I am here with a new post of a new release from Sasayaki Glitter, This is Happy Winter such a sweet image, and I have made a center step card.  I have used Copics to color her, and have used Chunky White Frantage on it. Then I have used paper from All is Calm DSP from Stampin up as well as some snowflakes from Stampin Up.

A Special Project for My Besties

These are four images I have colored, for my project each has been colored with Copics. I have used the following color for them. All four images were taken from the White Christmas CD from My Besties which can be found here:

Skin: E000,E00,E21,RV00, RV02

Green: YG21,YG23,YG25

After coloring them I set out to make my project.

I made 24 small match boxes out of white card stock

I made a larger box  3 by 3 out of Garden Green card stock

I used two pieces of chipboard for the top and bottom covered them with one side in Real Red cardstock and the other side in Garden Green Cardstock.

the top was covered around the edge with a sweater trim ribbon in Gumball Green.

the ribbon I bought from the dollar store and made it into a gift bow and attached

it to the top of the 3 by 3 box.

the mini pearl brads and numbers were added to the match boxes.

the 25th was added to the top box using sizzix dies.

The boxes were then stacked in columns of 6 and card stock and designer paper from Sherri's Candy Cane Holiday Paper Pack were

Giggle Box Girl

Hi Everyone, we have a new Challenge happening at My Besties International challenge blog.
I have used a new image from Sherri Baldy called Scan 0079 Snow Bird Giggle Box Bestie for my card. The image was colored with Copics then fussy cut. I created a scene with her, using trees which I colored with distress inks, and a snowflake both cut from Silhouette. I added snow banks using a die from Memory box, then added some glitter and Chunky White Frantage on the background, which before adding I colored with blue chalk.

Fluffy Christmas

Hi Everyone, a new challenge starts today at Color it Create it Show it off. I am using the image called  Img201 New Fluffy Besties on my card, which I have made very simply as I also used this gorgeous paper called My Besties Pink Coco Christmas so I have only added the sentiment which is from the Holly Jolly Greetings set by Stampin up, some White seam binding ribbon and a snowflake that I cut using my Silhouette machine out of silver glimmer paper.

Hi back again with another Besties Image, this time it is a little boy with his sling shot. He is image 571 in the shop and can be found here I have made it into a fall themed card for our challenge over at International Besties. I have colored him with Copics, and then cut him out and put him 3d onto the card. the background is paper from Well Worn paper pack, and the tree is a die from memory box and the leaves are punches.

Fluffy Bathtime

This is my DT project for Color it Create It Show it off. I hope you like her, she is one of the Fluffy Besties images from Sherri Ann Baldy. I just think she is adorable. I have colored her with copics, have used Eastern Elegance papers and add some flowers to make it a simple card. 

Bearly Two Scoops

This is  1140 Bearly Two Scoops by Sandra Caldwell. I think is such an adorable image. Yeah I gave the bear blue eyes. Anyway I love this image, so sweet. Here is my card using this adorable image

On my card I have used the polished stone technique for the background using Raspberry, Willow, Faded Denim and Silver alcohol inks from Tim Holtz. I then stamped some background stamps from Timeless Backgrounds from Stampin up. I added some chocolate chips to the mint ice cream, used some washi tape as well and then added my greeting, which is my case is so true, just love ice cream LOL.

Celebrating Fall at International Besties

Here is my fall inspired card using using img4262 from My Besties for the International Besties Challenge. I have colored her with copics. The background was made using Distress inks, and stamps, I hadded some grid behind it, and then some flowers from my stash which were colored with sprays.

Color Challenge

We have a color challenge this week at Come and Get It, that is Purple, Orange and Green. 

Our sponsor this week is Nikki Burnette, and I am using the image called Halloween Witch-Coraline for my project. I have colored her with copics

Skin: E000,00,21,11

all the green: YG01,0306

Purple: V04,06,09

Orange: YR 61,65,68

Moon: C1

For the background on my card I have used Spiced Marmalade and dried Marigold as my base, I then blended them together with water, I over stamped it using Elegant Eggplant ink with the background stamp called Wonderfully Worn, I then also stamped the bats and the sentiment from the stamp set called Wicked Cool,  in Elegant Eggplant

I cut the image out, and then mounted it on the background with foam tape, and layered it with Pistachio Pudding and Elegant Eggplant card stock.

Hi Everyone this is a new image by Sandra Caldwell, called 1112 Old Lady Indian. I have cored her with Copics and cut her out. The layer she is on is a faux leather technique where you put die cuts onto paper and trace around them with a stylus then ink the paper with a yellow ink, which I have used Crushed Curry, then an orange in, which I used Pumpkin Pie, then a light brown which I used Soft Suede, then a darker brown, which I used Early Espresso. I cut it out with the top note die, then cut off the border and cut out a piece of red with the same die and placed behind for a frame effect. I place it on a soft suede base which I stamped with hardwood background stamp. I added her with pop dots and then added the die cut thank you which I used the celebrate set from Tim Holtz.

Candy Stripe Hippo

Hi Everyone, well another new hippo coming to Sandra's shop today this time it is a Candy Stripe Hippo. I thought it was a perfect image to make a get well card. I have colored the hippo with Copics. using C1,3,5 for the hippos and using RV11,32,35 for the outfit and nails. I have used some paper from Lap of Luxury dsp from Stampin up, some square gems, and used a circle and scalloped circle die from Spellbinders and poly twill ribbon from Stampin Up as well in Blushing Bride.

I have colored the image with Copic markers. She was cut out with Oval framelits then placed on the frame by spellbinders. The papers and ribbon are from Stampin up. The papers from the Sweet Shop package. The ribbon is 5/8 satin ribbon in Daffodil Delight. The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Happy Halloween

I have colored her with copics. I mounted her onto some Elegant Eggplant, then used a simple layout of halloween papers from the Frightful Site set of papers from Stampin up. I added a ouple of Pumpkin glitter stickers and a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set from Stampin Up.

Thankful Hippos

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians. I am here to share my New Release card for Sandra Caldwell. This is Thankful Hippos. I love this darling couple. they are perfect for Thanksgiving or just a simple fall thank you card which is what I decided to make.
The hippos are colored using Copics, C1,3,5,7,9 for them and their outfits, Y02,YR62,68 for the pumpkin, YG 61,63 for the leaf on the pumpkin and E70,71 for the basket and Y11,13,15 for the corn and buckle on his hat.  for the background  used my leaves stamps from Gently Falling set and some distress inks in Fossilized Amber, Barn Door, Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade. I then distressed the edges as well in Peeled Paint. I added some bulap ribbon then cut out the Thank You words from the Celebrate set of dies from Tim Holtz, and added a maple leaf in between.

Sketch Challenge

This week at Come and Get It, we have a sketch challenge for you. We are using the above sketch and an image from our sponsor A Day For Daisies.  I have used the image called Rose Dancer, which I have colored using Copics, E000,00,21,11 for her skin, R81,83,85 for her dress, E43,44 for her hair. I have used paper from the Sweet and Sour Specialty paper, seam binding ribbon in Rose Red, and some Rose adornments on my card all which came from Stampin upl 

the background has white hearts embossed using a We are Memory Keepers embossing folder, and have added a doily for the circle part of the sketch.

Halloween LOC Challenge

Happy Halloween from the Left of Center Challenge blog. Yeah the darker side of things happens there. I am one of the new DT members of this amazing challenge. so come join us. you can follow our theme or if you don't want to do that do something left of center. All the rules are on the blog.
Anyway for my card I have used an image called Count Calabaza from our sponsor Rick St.Dennis MFA. I have used copics to color the image.

after coloring the image I fussy cut him out. and placed on the background using foam tape to pop him up. The background is Orange distressed around the edges, then stamps from the Wicked cool set using bats and the sentiment were stamped on, The trees are branches cut out of black paper using a die from Memory box. I added some Cheesecloth that I shredded to look like spider webbing, and then added some plastic spiders and then added the pumpkins at the bottom which are glitter stickers

Holiday Pigs

Hi Everyone, well it's Monday so that means New Release day for Sandra Caldwell.This is a delightful image I have had the pleasure of working with  1072 Holiday Pig, and couldn't decide on what color I wanted his jacket to be, so decided to do one of each. I have used Copics to coloring the images, and then paired them with Jolly Holiday paper fom Stampin up and I used the sentiment from Petite Pairs and a small felt hat as the only embellishment.

Welcome Autumn

Hi Everyone, well another week of challenges for Come and Get It, and this week we are celebrating the Fall Season. I am using this cute scarecrow from Eureka our sponsor for my card, I have colored him with Copics, I have distressed the edges with Ground Espresso distress ink from Tim Holtz. The background is all done with distress inks, using Ground Espresso for the edge and the other colors Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door and Peeled Paint. I then used the leaves from the Gently Falling stamp set from Stampin Up and accented it with burlap ribbon and then some chipboard leaves which were colored with Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. The card was then mounted onto some Crushed Curry card stock.

Spooktacular Halloween from My Besties International

Hi Everyone, once again at My Besties International we are celebrating Halloween this month and for my project I have made a treat box with two milk carton dies. cutting one strip off each piece then attaching them together I cut the paper out for them as well. then I used image 046 from my Besties and colored her with copics and hand cu her out and attached her to the treat box. Baby Hippo

Hi Everyone this is a new release image from Sandra Caldwell, called 1039 Baby Hippo. I have colored it with copics and mounted it onto Strawberry Slush card stock, which is my card base as well. I have used white card stock and embossed with polka dots embossing folder. I have used some pearls and baby pins from my stash. The hanger and booties were cut using the Anything for Baby dies, from Stampin up,and the sentiment is from the A New Little Someone stamp set from Stampin up as well. Here is a card I have just finished. DT inspiration for Sasayaki Glitter, Love this sweet image, they are so adorable, and love the stack of teacups too. Anyway I have colored it with copics, and have used some papers from my stash. The aqua paper is glittered actually, and I thought the sentiment worked well, it is stamped and punched and put into the center of a 1.1/2 in button.

Hi Everyone, I'm reminding you all of the challenge that is up at My Besties International challenge our theme this month is Anything Goes with a My Bestie Image, so come on over and join our challenge.

I have colored her with copics, then I distressed the ediges of the surface and sponged with crumbcake I mounted her onto a piece of pink that also was distress and sponged, the background paper is a music paper, and then distressed and sponged, added a doily some lace and a rhinestone guitar, The sentiment I added from is from Elements of Style stamp set, then I added a few flowers from wild orchid crafts, sponged with pink.
