Candy Cane Holiday

For this week at Come and Get It we are doing a simple challenge, anything goes with a sentiment. I have chosen to use the image called Candy Cane Stocking from one of our sponsors Bugaboo Stamps.
I have colored it with Copics, added Dazzling Details to the cuff and Diamond Glaze to the candy canes to give them a shine like real candy canes. The paper is from my stash as is the 5/8 in Red Grosgrain ribbon. The sentiment is from Wonderous Wreath stamp set from Stampin Up.

Hot Cocoa for the Holidays

Hi All here is my latest installment for our challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas. This week our challenge is Embossing, simple enough, could use dry or wet embossing method on a project and it will qualify, so why not come and join us. For my card I am using an image from one of our sponsors Sami Stamps called Winter Cocoa. I decided to color it more in a non tradtional color scheme, and originally the mug was a pumpkin pie color, but though oh for Christmas that won't work, so changed it to a red. I love the bright colors I used on the image, which was colored with Copics, I have used two different embossing folders for the background, added a sentiment from Hero Arts, then some pearls.

Lots of Sparkle

This week at Come and Get It we have a new challenge called Lots of sparkle, oh yeah with the holiday season coming up, it is time to get out that glitter. I have used an image from OddBall Art called Snowball Fight: image #263 in the store. It is a great winter image and reminds me of when I was young. The image is colored with copics, I have added some glitter to it, and did some clouds with my ink and sponges for the background. I printed it off so it would be the main panel on the card. quick and simple once colored.
