Baker's Apron Treat Box

Hi All this is my newest project for the new challenge at Open-minded Crafting Fun. The challenge is to make a project with an occupation in mind or using office supplies. Well I decided to go with the occupation and what baker doesn't always need some extra sprinkles. This apron template came from AR designs, and is available in the store. I cut it out with my Cameo Silhouette, and the great thing about this design is she gives you the svg files not just for the box, but also the insert, and also the pieces for putting designer paper on it if you choose to. I chose to only use designer paper on part of it as I wanted Luigi, which is an image from one of our sponsors Digital Delights on the front of it. I have also used a tag from the Birthday Bakery set, and the paper is from the Sweet Shop  DSP pack. and the ribbon is the Island indigo ruffled ribbon.    Our other sponsors for the challenge are
Aurora Wings, Sentimental Susan, Faery Ink, and Scrappers Delight, so lots of prizes available, so come join us won't you. Thanks for looking

Cute Mouse

This week at Come and Get It we have a Back To School / for the Teacher theme. We are sponsored by Meljens Designs: I have used the image called Pen Pal Mouse from Meljens. I decided to cut him out and make him 3D, I don't have any paper in my stash that would suit what I was wanting to do, so I made my own with black card stock and wrote some numbers and letters all over it, I have also used a chipboard letter that I colored with ink, and washi tape from the Retro Fresh Collection from Stampin Up. The paper was from a pad of paper, and I punched the sides of it. The sentiment is from a set called Embellished Events from Stampin Up as well.

Butterflies a Flutter

For my card this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge,  I have made my card using the Mother of Pearl Technique. It's very simple. Using glossy card stock, I die cut the butterflies, and then I stamped them with the image from the Elements of Style stamp set, one of my favorite sets that retired. I then colored it in with my Promarkers using Blossom, Dusky Rose, and Olive. After that is done, then use a piece of Saran Wrap  and some White Shimmer paint and dab over the image, it gives it an old fashioned mother of pearl look. I then distressed it some with the antique linen distress ink by Ranger, I used stamens for the antennae of the butterflies.
For the card it self, I have used Pink Pirouette card base, added a layer of Chocolate Chip which I embossed with a folder from Provocraft, called floral screen, then added some white bakers twine with a bow, The sentiment is from the Flight of a Butterfly stamp set.
Thanks for looking Cindy
