Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, this will be my last post before Christmas, so want to wish each of you a Very Merry Christmas, and all the best in the new year. My card today was made for the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge, and I am using one of the images from one of our fabulous sponsors Eureka stamps. The image is called Star Tree, I used my photo editing program to change the colour of the image from black and white to gold, and printed on very vanilla card stock, then added Stickles and  paired it with the brushed gold and Cherry Cobbler. I have used the pinking hearts border punch for the edge, and for the sentiment. And added some of the gorgeous seam binding ribbon in Cherry Cobbler as well.

White on White

Hi Everyone, this is my last card as a member of the Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge. I would like to say thank you to Susan and Vicky for having me as part of their team. I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the team and I wish you all the best of luck in the future.
For my project this time around I am using an image from one of the sponsors of the challenge Sami Stamps called two birds. I thought it would be a perfect set for a wedding card or an anniversary card. I know the sentiment is from Stampin Up, but I don't remember which set at the moment. Merry Christmas from Come and Get It

This is my project for this week for Come and Get It Challenges.
I have made two treat  boxes, using the images from Eureka Stamps, one of our great sponsors
The images were recolored in Paint Shop Pro, as they were originally black and white, then I printed them off and added some Stickles to them. The treat boxes were cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

Merry Christmas from Wags'n Whiskers

I would like to say thanks to Lacey and Nikki for having me on their design team. This is my last post for Wags'n Whiskers. I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the team, but all things come to an end. For my card this week I am using Zoe and Gemma's Snow fun. What a sweet image, I have colored it using Promarkers and the layout is simple to show off the stamp. O Christmas Tree

This is my card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week. I love this simple sketch.
I have used the Lovely as a Tree set, stamped it in the new Mossy Meadow, and used glitter which you can't see. I have used some retired paper from Stampin up for the background. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and then added the color dots in Cherry Cobbler in the corners. a simple card that you can mass produce in a hurry for many cards if your in a hurry.

Merry Christmas from Come and Get It

Hi Everyone, well we are heading into the Christmas Season, so Come and Get It would like to wish each and everyone a very Merry Christmas. Our challenge will be for the whole month, This week half the design team has done Anything but a card challenges, the other half of the team has done cards.

Hi Everyone, This is my latest card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, a great sketch made by Michelle. I have used Poinsettia die from Spellbinders as the main focal point of the card. I then used paper from the Merry Moments Scrapbooking kit, and of course my favorite  Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon. and to finish it off I have used the sentiment from the Joyous Celebrations. Santa's Helpers

This week at Holly Jolly Christmas our challenge is all about the elves, you know the little guys that help Santa make the toys, or fill the bags with them. Anyway I decided to make a couple of tags for the challenge instead of a card, I have used the two tags die to make the tags, I used the jolly holiday paper as the background then used the Bugaboo, our sponsor this week , elf tag as the main focal image on each, Colored them in opposite colors.What a fun challenge.

Winter

This week at Come and Get It Challenges, we have a new challenge, called Winter, so Anything that is related to winter is good to go, so why not come and join us. My card uses the best set that ever came out from Stampin Up, of course that is my opinion, but anyway it is Lovely as a tree. I have used the large stamp with the trees, I have stamped it onto the background and then again onto the tag. I have sponged the sky, and added lots of glitter for the snow. Love how it turned out, but it isn't just a card, it is a gift card holder, when opened up the gift card slides out the bottom. I love this style. Anyway thanks for looking.

Thanksgiving Traditions

Here we have had Thanksgiving already, but in the States Thanksgiving comes up in  just over a week. We are sponsored by Bugaboo this time around, and I am using Thanksgiving Indian Girl. Puppy Love

This week at Wags'n Whiskers we have a brand new challenge, and that is to add some leaves to your project. I have selected the image Puppy Love to work with this time around, isn't it so sweet. I decided to put them into a fall scene and added leaves to the ground and tree.  The tree is a memory box die, the leaves are punches, and the background is a cloud embossing folder from Stampin Up.

Winter's Wonder

Here is my card for this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, I am using the colors Island Indigo, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana. The paper is from Stampin Up, called Winter Frost, along with the stamp for the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes. The sentiment is from Verve, and the Snowflake Brads are from my stash. It was a simple sketch and with the upcoming holiday season getting closer, a very quick and easy one for any holiday card. so come join us won't you.

Garden Inspired Birthday

This week at Crafting for All Seasons we have a new challenge celebrating Birthdays. For my card I am using a stamp from Stampin Up called  Garden from the Heart. I have colored with Promarkers, and cut out into an oval and pierced the border, I then framed it using a Spellbinders floral fancy die. The glove and trowel are cut out and popped up. I used Watercolor Wonder paper from Stampin Up for the background and the greeting is from the itty bitty banner set and cut out with matching dies. The colors I have used are  Pool Party and  Crushed Curry I also paper pieced the ribbon on the hat.

Color Challenge at HJC

This week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge, we have an unusal color challenge, you actually have a choice between a number of combinations of colors, so much fun. Anyway I have used the Blue White and Silver combination for my card. I am using an image from one of our sponsors Fitztown, which this is called Winter 10, one of my favorite images from them. Some of the other ladies have done some great cards using our other sponsor Art by Miran, so you will have to pop by to check them out. I have used an embossing resist technique for the background first stamping the snowflakes from Snowflake Soiree set from Stampin Up on to the background embossed with clear embossing powder, then went over with Night of Navy Ink. I have added some icicles which I have die cut, a new one for me. for the edges of the card, and then added some beautiful two tone blue and a white rose to the card with some pine branch sprigs. To finish it off I added the greeting from Petite Pairs from Stampin Up.

This is my latest card for  Wags 'n Whiskers Stamps. Our new challenge is to use stripes, I have picked Toby's Tasty Treat as my image, as tigers have stripes, so I had the challenge covered, but also decided to add more stripes, selecting the Celebrations DSP from Stampin up. The red card sock was cut using Edgelit dies from Stampin up, ribbon is from my stash, and the cupcake was made using the cupcake builder punch from Stampin Up.

Pumpkins or Jack O'Lanterns

Hi Everyone, back again for another challenge from Open Minded Crafting Fun.  This time we are featuring Pumpkins and Jack O'Lanterns. I am using an image from Bugaboo, one of our sponsors called Pumpkin Brat Kid, I have colored it with Promarkers, and then used some fall looking papers. I also embossed the bottom part of the papers, made a pumpkin using oval punches and leave punches, and added some brads and burlap for some fun details.

Halloween

Hi Everyone, this is my project for this weeks challenge over at Come and Get It, our theme this week is Halloween, we are sponsored by QKR Stampede, I chose this witch image to work with, then later thought what are you going to do with it, well this paper is white card stock, and I masked it to make the moon, then masked the moon, and brayered it with black ink, I stamped the witch, and then Colored over areas of her with maroon, olive and mustard, I then fussy cut her out, and mounted her on the moon, so she is flying. I used some joy craft dies for the houses and the trees, put them on and thought it needed more for the scene, so that was when the bats were added, and I thought the greeting worked, so went with it.

Fall Colors

This fortnight at Wags'n Whiskers we have a new challenge and that is to use fall colors in your design. for my card I have the stamp called Good Book. I have Colored her with my Promarkers, using rich red ann broken tones, As when I think of fall, it is the brown , gold, orange and red that catches my eye, especially the rich red maple trees. I have it together with the Orchard harvest Designer paper, this paper reminds me of wool sweaters with the different colors. To finish off the card I have used Rasperry ripple stitched tibbon, and a beautiful yellow/golf flower from my stash. I hope you all have a great weekend. Unusal Birthday Card

Hi Everyone, this week at Open-minded Crafting Fun, we have a challenge called Roll out the Red. This is my card for the challenge, and the image is called Telephone Booth and it is from Scribbles, one of our Sponsors. I love the black, red and white colour palette, It is striking and vibrant. Snow Swirled Tree

My card was inspired by the color challenge over at Tis the Season blog. I have used a retired set from Stampin Up, Snow Swirled, and For the Season. I have Embossed the tree, with silver embossing powder, then added turquoise gems, I have mounted it on silver which was embossed with a spellbinders mbossibilites folder, and t hen mounted it on black then on turquoise again, the sentiment was stamped on with black.
